Cruising the Hawaiian Islands

How do you choose? Maui's lush valleys, tropical beaches, waterfalls and rainforests; Kauai's spectacular Na Pali Coast and Waimea Canyon; Oahu's glittering Diamond Head and dazzling Waikiki Beach; the Island of Hawaii's volcanoes, black-sand beaches, and 13,000 foot high mountains; Molokai's unimaginable sea cliffs, undeveloped nature and archaeological sites; Lana''s marine sanctuary, deserted pristine beaches and breathtaking hiking trails. Hawaii is a kaleidoscope of natural beauty and each island offers a unique and thrilling experience of its own. What better way to experience much of the beauty and diversity these islands have to offer than on a cruise. The memories will last a lifetime.

Cruise lines have long visited with most sailings departing from a West Coast port. These cruises usually last 15 to 16 days with several "at sea" days. Some cruisers are very happy with this because it allows them to totally relax at sea and to visit a number of islands as well. Others prefer shorter cruises with more "on-island" time. Both options are available, including options with overnight stays on some islands. These cruises offer plenty of time ashore to explore and no sea days. You'll be on island time as you discover cascading waterfalls; active volcanoes; black, green and white sand beaches; historic sites; and unspoiled nature. The shore excursion programs are exceptional, including a wide variety of sightseeing opportunities and activities.

So much to do.....so much time to do it.

Other Hawaii Cruises

Norwegian Cruise Line's Pride of America and UnCruise Adventures Safari Explorer are the only cruise ships that sail the Hawaiian Islands year-round, but there  are other cruise lines that offer them at various times throughout the year. Many of them are in May when ships are repositioned to Alaska through Hawaii, as well as when they are repositioned again in September when the Alaska cruise season ends. Many of these options visit areas in the South Pacific as well. Access  "Cruise Finder" at the top of the page for other Hawaii cruise options.
